The Banana Leaf Head Ring has been used in Africa for centuries to place on the head to provide stability in carrying round bottomed pots or baskets on the head, which requires great posture as well. The Banana Leaves are meticulously woven and sometines include straw.

I use these leaves as a base for pottery, they add beautifully to the art of the pottery, keep it stable if that is needed, The African Pottery shown is an example only.

The Banana Leaf Head Rings are made in Kenya, and as each is individually handwoven, there are slight variations in color and size.
