Inspiration
William Randolph Hurst (1863- 1951) creator of the largest newspaper empire in the US. Served as the inspiration of this design. The ink-like marking in the agate stone makes the perfect comparison to the man with ink in his veins. The playfully elegant style of the piece is reminiscent of Hurst own style seen in the mysterious Hurst Castle.
